August in Napa Valley marks the exhilarating lead-up to harvest, with the first clusters of grapes—typically for sparkling wines—beginning to come off the vines as winemakers prepare for the rush of crush. It’s a month filled with anticipation, celebration, and community.

From August 5–24, the valley also plays host to Music in the Vineyards, an acclaimed chamber music festival that brings live performances to stunning winery settings throughout Napa. September

September is one of the most exciting times to visit Napa Valley, as harvest kicks into high gear and the air buzzes with the energy of picking crews, sorting tables, and the first signs of fermentation filling the cellars. By the end of the month, harvest is typically in full swing, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the heart of winemaking.

 It’s also when the PGA Tour rolls through town for the Procore Championship, held September 11–14, drawing golf fans and wine lovers alike to the valley. Carte Blanche is looking forward to welcoming guests during this dynamic time, offering a front-row seat to the magic of the 2025 vintage as it comes to life.
