Deep purple-hued and based on 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon The Mark was aged 22 months in 75% new French oak. It offers a ripe, powerful nose of black fruits, smoked tobacco, chocolate, and scorched earth with a touch of mint and flowers. It’s medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe, polished tannins and a great finish. It’s another sensational effort from this estate that will benefit from just a few years of bottle age and keep for two decades.
