The 2021 Chardonnay UV Vineyard is a very pretty wine. Lemon confit, white flowers, tropical fruit and a kiss of new French oak are all nicely layered. In 2021, I see a bit more freshness than in some other previous vintages. It’s a style that works quite well. Pretty, silky notes grace the textured finish. This is compelling.
