The 2012 Carte Blanche Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon showcases vineyard selections from both Oakville’s valley floor and Calistoga’s rocky hillside. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine reveals the delicate balance of ripe dark fruits, plush velvety tannins from Beckstoffer’s Missouri Hopper Vineyard, and savory notes, structure and minerality from Blossom Creek Vineyard. Blossom Creek’s 6% Petite Verdot provides a brooding base note, depth and nuance.
With each harvest, we will blend the finest fruit from each block utilizing our Bordeaux varietals to complete our signature Cabernet Sauvignon. A robust nose of black cherry, red currants, sandalwood, and fresh tobacco leaf dance from the glass. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its pedigree with an ethereal silky entrance, backed by firm tannins, and a generous palate of blackberry, red currant, graphite, and cocoa, all seamlessly woven together. A driving finish pulls together beautiful fruit, savory notes, and definitive structure. 600 cases produced AG92
